Mitutoyo Announces Reorganization and Name Changes to Strengthen Business in China
Mitutoyo Measuring Instruments (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (“Mitutoyo Shanghai”) and Mitutoyo Measuring Instruments (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (“Mitutoyo Tianjin”), two of Mitutoyo’s bases in China, will integrate their business operations and organizations on January 1, 2012. On the same date, Hong Kong and South China regional sales companies in which Mitutoyo holds an equity interest will change their names. These changes will be made to increase sales of Mitutoyo products, raise service quality, and strengthen compliance structures.
Mitutoyo has established 14 bases in China, an expanding market that also serves as the world’s factory, to manufacture products and provide sales and services near customers so it can contribute to their higher quality production and provide them optimal measuring instruments and measuring solutions. Mitutoyo Shanghai’s management functions will be reinforced and products and services that satisfy customers will be provided at reasonable prices to even more customers throughout China, including the South China region.
