Notification of Death

It is with regret that we inform you that Toshihide Numata (Advisor to Mitutoyo Corporation and Chairman of BUKKYO DENDO KYOKAI Society for the Promotion of Buddhism) passed away on February 16, 2017, due to illness. We would like to extend our thanks for your kindness during his lifetime.
A wake and private funeral have already been held by close family members and friends.
A formal funeral will be held on March 30 at Tsukiji Hongwanji (hosted jointly by Mitutoyo and BUKKYO DENDO KYOKAI Society for the Promotion of Buddhism). We will make a separate announcement once the details have been finalized.
