Mitutoyo corporation (Head office: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President: Yoshiaki Numata) and HINODE Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, President: Noriyuki UraKami) have concluded a business alliance agreement for consignment of production, research and development, introduction of technology, and joint development, including their own subsidiaries, in order to mutually develop by utilizing the business fields in which each company has expertise.
In addition to the production of cast parts using self-hardening molds at Mitutoyo's Gohara Plant (Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture) at each plant of Hinode Holdings, the two companies will jointly promote future research and development of casting technology to build a system that will enable the delivery of better products to customers.
