Notice on concerning absorb merger of wholly owned subsidiary Kochi Mitutoyo Corporation

At Board of Directors meeting on April 27, Mitutoyo Corporation (hereinafter "the Company") resolved to absorb merge (hereinafter "this merger") Kochi Mitutoyo Corporation (hereinafter "Kochi Mitutoyo"), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Purpose of this merger
The Company aims to establish the world's best micrometer head production system, and has decided to integrate "Production, sales, technology" and absorb merge Kochi Mitutoyo, which specializes in micrometer head, in order to efficiently market micrometer head with added value that meets of the times, as well as applied product and related parts.
